I first saw WOTM on TBN. I had previously witnessed
to a guy by using the “God has a wonderful plan for
your life” message. He prayed ’the prayer’
and seemed to be so sincere, but there was no change. When
I saw WOTM, I thought it would work on him, but in turn,
I realized I was a false convert. . One day while watching
the videos, it hit me. “I’m a good person”.
I had lived my whole life comparing myself to others. For
the first time, I was humbled before God and saw myself
for what I truly was.
God has used WOTM has completely turn my world ‘right
side up’. The things that I’ve known my whole
life finally made sense. I always believed in Jesus and
what He had done for me, but I never ‘put Him on’.
Every day I am drawn closer to Jesus. I know now as a Christian,
what I am supposed to do, share Christ with others. It really
makes the things that were so ‘important’ in
my life before, ‘unimportant‘. My walk with
Christ is now an adventure.
I really felt called to be a ‘local leader’
before I even knew what it was. My heart’s passion
is to follow Christ by doing what Christ did, which is to
seek the lost, and to disciple others in biblical evangelism.
I know first hand what it is like to have ‘head knowledge’
of Jesus and at the same time, not know Him.
Our evangelism team is small, but I know that God will provide
the ‘increase’. I’ve felt pressed for
a while, to “go”, not to wait, that God would
provide the ‘laborers’ if we would be faithful
to do His will. The ‘Hampton Roads’ area, is
one of the most populated areas on the east coast. The fields
are definitely ‘ripe with the harvest’. We are
being faithful to set aside at least one time a week for
‘street evangelism’, sometimes more. God has
already started to provide some new ‘laborers’
to come along side.
